Ken Hamlett

Tacoma, Washington

Ken Hamlett is a native of Tacoma, Washington. He is easy going,  and has relatable stories that allow the audience to feel right at home. Much like the Tacoma Aroma, people immediately notice him when he's around. Combining wry wit with a powerful stage pressence, Ken Hamlett has used his unique perspective to make him a mainstay in the NorthWest comedy scene.
Ken has worked with national headliners including Honest John, and is a regular at Capitol City Theater in Salem, Oregon. Ken has performed all over the Northwest at clubs like Capital City Theatre in Salem, Oregon, Tacoma Comedy Club, the Parlor Live in Washington, The Funhouse Lounge, and Brody Theater in Portland, Oregon. He has performed in front of hundreds of students at Western Oregon University on multiple occasions and is the two time winner of Western Oregon University's Last Comic Standing Competition. Ken also was a feature act in the first annual Idaho Laugh Fest, and the North West Black Comedy Festival in Portland, Oregon. Ken Hamlett was also a finalist in the audition for Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" Tacoma Edition to be aired on Comedy Central. He has performed on Nate Jackson's Super Funny Comedy show in Tacoma Washington on multiple occasions. Ken is working on his writing prowess and is currently a published writer for Exotic Magazine.
